Once again, Gottaswing dancers will participate in the National Independence Day Parade on July 4, and you’re invited! Dancers will walk along the parade route and dance as the pace allows, but the big excitement will be performing Janice and Glenn’s new Tutti Frutti routine in front of the reviewing stand at the parade terminus–so much fun! WANNA LEARN TO SHIM SHAM?

We’re celebrating World Lindy Hop Day and commemorating the birthday of Lindy Hop Legend FRANKIE MANNING with Shim Sham performances and free swing dancing on Freedom Plaza on Saturday, May 25, 1:30-4pm, see more on the CALENDAR! We’ll do the Shim Sham at 2pm, 2:45pm, and 3:30pm, with plenty of time for social dancing in between. Don’t know the Shim Sham? Here’s where you can learn at any of these one-night workshops:
