Evolving from Lindy, Collegiate Shag and Charleston, this territory swing dance originated in St. Louis, Missouri in the 1930s, and was re-popularized by St. Louis native Kenny Wetzel when he moved to SoCal in the 1950s. This up-tempo step easily lends itself to switching between Lindy and Charleston patterns. Suitable for all levels.
