BANDSTAND BOOGIE ROUTINE! Developed by Sue and Gary, this routine will be performed in downtown Washington, DC at the annual Independence Day Parade on July 4. No partner required for the class (routine includes lots of material easy to use on the social dance floor), but you will need a partner to participate in the parade. Class is followed by routine practice time to work with your parade partner. Variations will also be taught. See this VIDEO of the full routine.

Note: Facing the front entrance of the church, take the walkway to the left side of the building and down the stairway leading to DanceSport Dupont in the basement social hall. Free street parking is available after 6:30pm, and there is a small lot and additional parking at the church, also free. To access the church lot, you can drive the wrong way up 22nd Street alongside the church, accessible from the front of the building and 23rd Street (22nd Street is currently closed due to construction so this maneuver is permissible). Church parking lot is on the left; there will be a sharp left turn to enter the lot. You can also reverse up 22nd Street to find free parking on the closed portion of the street, car facing towards P Street.
