Beginning in 1995 with Mark Gamsjager Rocks & The Lustre Kings Roll, this band has staked a claim to a modern take on the river-driven sounds of early rock, leaning into the touchstones of Country, Blues, and R&B. THE LUSTRE KINGS boast a devoted international fanbase and perform over 150 dates a year, including regular stops at nightclubs, festivals, Viva Las Vegas, the Heritage Folk Festival, DC’s own Kennedy Center and the Montreal Jazz Fest. Italy’s DON DIEGO TRIO has played at some of the biggest festivals in Europe and Texas, and has opened for such notable artists as Brian Setzer, BB King, Johnny Winter, Deke Dickerson… the list goes on and on. The Lustre Kings and Don Diego Trio regularly play together at international Rockabilly and swing events. We can’t believe how lucky we are to have them together for our dance at Colvin Run–going to be an INCREDIBLE night.
