It’s the annual Glen Echo Park gala!!! This year’s theme is GLEN ECHO PARK IN BLOOM, for a fantastic evening featuring a reception and silent auction in the Bumper Car Pavilion, dinner and awards in the historic Spanish Ballroom, followed by a swing dance afterparty with our fabulous friends the ROCK-A-SONICS! Tom and Debra are honored to teach the beginner swing lesson before the band starts playing, and to be on hand to keep the dance fun going.
The ROCK-A-SONICS play Rockabilly, vintage Country, and atomic age Rock ‘n’ Roll in authentic style. Willie Barry on vocals and acoustic guitar, Eric Hurtt on electric guitar and vocals, Louie Newmyer on upright bass and vocals, Tommy Bowes on drums and vocals, and Kim Reynolds on piano, steel guitar and saxophone. One of our long-time favorite bands!
