To celebrate Women’s History Month, bandleader Cyndy Elliott has assembled an all-female version of Swingtopia, featuring women who have graced the Spanish Ballroom stage for years, as well as some newcomers. Focusing on the great composers and arrangers of the big band era including Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Tommy Dorsey, Glenn Miller, and Artie Shaw, SheBop Swing will provide an evening of outstanding music and grooves for your dancing enjoyment. Featuring Ally Hany on trumpet, Jen Krupa on trombone, Halley Shoenberg on alto saxophone and clarinet, Leigh Pilzer on tenor sax, Amanda Gardier on baritone sax, Hannah Mayer on piano, Angel Bethea on drums, and Cyndy Elliott on bass.
