Beginning in 1995 with Mark Gamsjager Rocks & The Lustre Kings Roll, this band has staked a claim to a modern take on the river-driven sounds of early rock, leaning into the touchstones of Country, Blues, and R&B. THE LUSTRE KINGS boast a devoted international fanbase and perform over 150 dates a year, including regular stops at nightclubs, festivals, Viva Las Vegas, the Heritage Folk Festival, DC’s own Kennedy Center and the Montreal Jazz Fest.
