Our beginner class series takes you through the basics of swing:\n• Six-count patterns\n• Eight-count Lindy Whip and Circle\n• Side-by-side and Back Charleston\n• Lead-and-follow skills, transitions, and more\nYou never need a partner; we rotate partners in our classes so everyone has a chance to learn and practice. \n\nDanceSport Dupont at Church of the Pilgrims, 2201 P Street, NW, Washington, DC 20037\nNote: Facing the front entrance of the church, take the walkway to the left side of the building and down the stairway leading to DanceSport Dupont in the basement social hall. Free street parking is available after 6:30pm, and there is a small lot and additional parking at the church, also free. To access the church lot, drive the wrong way up 22nd Street alongside the church, accessible from the front of the building and 23rd Street (22nd Street is currently closed due to construction so this maneuver is temporarily permissible). Church parking lot is on the left; there will be a sharp left turn to enter the lot. You can also reverse up 22nd Street to find free parking on the closed portion of the street, car facing towards P Street.\n\n\n\n\n\n
