We’ve planned a classic 1930's dinner dance at the glittering Art Deco Carlyle Club. The evening features a seated dinner with your choice of filet mignon, Atlantic salmon or roasted chicken(vegetarian meal on request), dessert, cash bar available throughout the evening, special dance performances by world Lindy champions Ben and Gen, Jean Veloz and her brother Ray Phelps, and music by City Rhythm Orchestra.

We'll have different seating options available to make this special evening as enjoyable as possible. You may chose to sit alone at a table with your special date, you and friends can reserve a table together, or you may choose to sit at the Dancer's Table—specially designated for unaccompanied dancers who enjoy meeting new people and making new friends. Upon purchasing your tickets, you will be contacted to place your reservation. Space is limited, so don't wait to make your resevation.

The City Rhythm Orchestra has been dazzling audiences for many years with their distinctive style and sound: stellar horns, a rocking rhythm section, innovative arrangements and versatile vocalists all combine to create an extraordinary experience. Their wide range of music awards proves the point, having been repeatedly honored in both Pop/Rock and Jazz/Swing categories. The Philadelphia Inquirer calls them "Philly's premier swing outfit." Internationally respected jazz artist Eric Felten brings his talents as a singer and trombonist to the classic American popular music of the '30s, '40s and '50s. Leading a gold-standard orchestra of Washington's finest musicians, Eric Felten sings hits from Frank Sinatra, Nat "King" Cole, Bobby Darin and Joe Williams, and performs favorites from the great big bands—Duke Ellington, Glenn Miller, Count Basic, Benny Goodman, Harry James and more.

Making the evening even more memorable, we'll have special dance performances by Ben and Gen and Jean Veloz.
